Dodgers at Giants, Top of the Ninth

Dodgers up, facing Brian Wilson.

Wilson blew a save and the game yesterday. Let's see what he's got for us today. Bengie Molina is behind the plate now instead of Sandoval.

Blake is first up. 0-2 becomes 3-2. Wilson is trying too hard and losing the strike zone because of it. Blake bails him out swinging at a pitch well low. One away.

Two sliders on the outside of the plate to Blake DeWitt. First is a called strike, the other a ball. The looked pretty identical to me. DeWitt swung well late for strike three. Two away!

Furcal steps up. Leftie against rightie. The fans are chanting BEAT LA as they did all last inning too. 3-0. Took strike one all the way. Same for strike two. CALLED STRIKE THREE OFF THEOUTSIDE CORNER!

I have no doubt that the last pitch was a ball, but they gave it to us. What a great game.

GIANTS WIN 5-4!

PS. Bonds is shaking hands with and waving to fans as he leaves the stadium.
