Brewers at Giants, Bottom of the First

Giants up, facing Jeff Suppan

Randy Winn - Starts the season off with a fizzle. Pop fly out.

Edgar Renteria - That's more like it. Base hit grounder down the third base line. Earn the paycheck, Edgar.

Fred Lewis - He works it to a full count and hits a slow grounder to short. Renteria was going so there was no play at second and Fred easily out ran the throw to first. This is how baseball is supposed to be played.

Bengie Molina - Reaches low and outside for a sad pop up to no man's land in between first and right. Hart slides in for the catch.

Pablo Sandoval - First pitch brushes his baggy jersey. Pablo jumped back, sticking his butt high into the air but leaving him in a bent over position. The loose jersey hung down and the ball barely grazed it. Take your base.

Travis Ishikawa - Crushes it 415 ft. to triples alley. A sliding 3-run triple is what he gets for it. Great find this guy.

Aaron Rowand - Flies out to center to end the inning.

End of the first. GIANTS 3 BREWERS 0
